It all begins with an idea.

Recalling all of the potential challenges of living in a climate with snow reminds me how I have handled other types of stormy seasons in life. Snowstorms can be incredibly dangerous, especially when the snow falls fast, heavy, and without warning.

As I have been thinking about Buddy and his bone, I began to see similarities in what I do with things in my life—even good things.

In this past year of extraordinary stress, pain, strife, turmoil and loss for so many of us on this earth, I have been pondering a phrase that decorated my newest binder purchased at Walmart last July— “NO RAIN, NO FLOWERS.”
